What is a "sales enquiry"? If someone is interested in the equipment you have listed on Kitmondo.com they will send an enquiry via the website. Once the enquiry has been put through our quality control process, we will send it on to you via email. We call this a sales enquiry.

What information will I receive in my sales enquiry? Each of your sales enquiries will contain a written message from the customer along with their name, company name, email address, telephone number and country.

(N.B. You do not receive the buyer’s contact details if you select a SELLER plan)

How do you ensure the quality of the sales enquiries? Over the last five years we have developed an 11-point quality control process for internet sales enquiries. Before they get to you, each enquiry has been thoroughly assessed by our experienced lead management team. Here's a small example of what we do with each of your sales enquiries:
1. Your sales enquiry is scanned for 750 banned keywords and phrases
2. Contact details (telephone number, email address) etc are checked for accuracy
3. Your sales enquiry is +/- scored for fraud indicators
Naturally we cannot guarantee every sales enquiry will lead to a sale. But if you are ever dissatisfied with a sales enquiry you receive from we will refund you without argument.

How many sales enquiries will I receive? This largely depends on how many equipment listings you have on the Kitmondo.com website and how much demand there is from potential customers. If you’re in doubt, simply sign up to one of the plans and measure how many sales enquiries you receive each month. You can then adjust your membership accordingly.

What happens if I receive fewer enquiries than expected? If we don't manage to send you the minimum number of monthly sales enquiries indicated in your pricing plan your monthly fee will be reduced to the amount appropriate for the lower number of enquiries.

For example, if you joined up on the SELLER STAR membership plan but you only received 18 sales leads in a month, your fee for that month would drop to the next plan down the scale i.e. SELLER PLUS.

What happens if I don't receive any sales enquiries? There will be no charges whatsoever.

Do I pay any commission if I make a sale? Only on our SELLER plan. All other plans are free of commission.

Do I have to sign a contract? No. Kitmondo's membership plans are monthly and you can cancel at any time.

If I select a "SELLER" plan – how do I communicate with the buyer? The email we send to you containing your sales enquiry will not include the customer's contact details but it will include a link that enables you to send an anonymous message back to the customer via the Kitmondo system. The system allows you to attach files to your message so you can send photos, specifications, datasheets etc.

Once the buyer has indicated they are interested in buying your equipment we will contact you to arrange an introduction.

Can I change or upgrade my membership plan? yes. You can change your plan at any time. Simply login and click the "Change Plan" button on your My Kitmondo page.

What kinds of companies sell equipment on Kitmondo.com? Our sellers are located all over the world and include equipment dealers, corporations, liquidators, academic and public institutions, auctioneers, asset managers and many other businesses. From a single machine to a warehouse full
