Non-Contact Thickness guage. Unit is a non-contact, scratch-less, benchtop guage for measuring total thickness of semiconductor wafers. Calibrated unit. Comes with linear slide instead of fixed granite table or anvil, that can allow for breakage or scratching of the wafer while being put between the probes. Linear slide has felt covered aluminum mounts that protect the wafer from damage and contamination, unlike fixed tables.
Simple operation. User places wafer on linear slide, slides wafer between probes and takes reading from large digital readout display. Wafers can be measured in microns or MILS by sliding a small internal switch. Unit has been modified to increase range on display to 90 mils. Unit will create a thickness measurement of any flat, low resistivity (less than 100 ohm-cm) object with a thickness less than 0.040" (999.9 microns). Thickness range is 0.002"( 50.8 microns) to 0.040" (999.9 microns). Any wafer that can fit between the probes can be measured. Overage indicator LED indicates wafer thickness out of setup range or probes improperly setup. Adjustable HI/LO limit indicators can indicate if wafer thickness is greater than or less than specified values. Limit values are easily set by adjusting front panel potentiometers. Display will blank and overrange indicator will illuminate if invalid measurement conditions are present. Comes with a BNC connector on the back to allow connection for DC output to analog meter, chart recorder, or data logger/ computer. Analog voltage output 0-4V ( 0-10V in metric range). Output impedance less than 10 ohms. Operating voltage: 110 volt, 60 Hz. Measurement reading time: 0.5 seconds.

In addition, I also have units available that also measure taper(TTV). Total of ten units are available, five each of 6033 and 6033T. Inquire for more details.
