This camera is capable of running at variable speeds and can even run in reverse. The Arriflex was a camera that employed the first rotating mirror prism, so there is no light lost at the film plane when shooting. It has a rotating turret for switching lens and has the stainless steel retrofit to be able to hold large lenses. This camera has a steel reinforced stainless steel mount for large lenses such as the Angenieux 12-120mm.
