Clark is a materials handling equipment manufacturer based in Michigan Ohio, supplying the construction industry throughout the world. Clark equipment includes trucks ranging from 1,500 to 18,000 pound capacities, LPG and gasoline to dual fuel and diesel, narrow-aisle stackers, electric riders and powered hand trucks.
Clark has been trading since 1917 when the company invented and manufactured the Tructractor, this was the world's first internal combustion-powered industrial truck. Further development and innovation continued with the Truclift, released in 1922, this was the world's first internal combustion lift truck that used hydraulics to lift a load instead of mechanical gears and linkage. During WW2 Clark was central to the movement of military kit, with 90% of all army forklifts having been supplied by Clark.
In the early 1980’s Clark began to launch a range of environmentally friendly and ergonomic machines, with the ECA17-30 & EPA 20-30 four wheel electric trucks.
Current Clark equipment ranges include forklifts with pneumatic, cushion, electric, narrow aisle, walkie stackers and walkie pallet functionality. The company also offers a range of parts, accessories and legacy spare part services for the wide range of existing and second hand units. Clark equipment includes recommissioned engines, transmissions, steer axles, hydraulic components, electric DC motors and control cards.
