table-84" height under sadle-84" height under ram face-96" plus vert travel-48" 3" bore in ram head max swing-96" table top to floor-36" overall mach. height-14ft. 4 axis DRO system-both rams up/down -left /right pit shown but not required-due to building height restriction Year 1967 or 1968 (not quite sure) This information below was copied from The G.A. Gray Company Bulletin 92. It seems accurate. There is more room under the rail than specified. Machine size 84" Table diameter 84" Height under saddle 84" Height under ram face 92" Height under turret face 96" Vertical travel (below saddle) of ram head (std.) 48" Vertical travel (below saddle) of turret head (std) 30" Vertical travel of side head above table 80" Horizontal travel of ram head 54" Horizontal travel of turret head 57" Horizontal travel of side head ram 32" Travel past center - ram head 1/2" Travel past center - turret head 1/2" Travel of rail 74" Swivel of ram head either side of vertical 45 degrees Size of bore in ram head 3" Size of bore in turret head 3" Maximum swing, with or without side head 96" Feeds per revolution of table (infinitely variable) .002" - .250" Table speed range rpm (infinitely variable) 0.8 - 194 Table top to floor 36 1/4" Overall height machine top to floor 14' 2" Overall height pendant top to floor 18' Overall height top of ram to floor 18' Two range simple transmission 12,000 lbs table load Automatic lubrication Constant surface cutting Power indexing turret head 75 Hp DC table drive All heads are DC drive Rail head AC drive with self leveling feature and automatic locking There is a box full of gears I suspect are for thread cutting and drum scoring 1st I swapped the 5 HP DC drive control for the ram with the drive on the on the turret head. I chose to swap drives rather than repair. 2nd the clutch slips on the turret head when raising/lowering the head. We just put it into the fastest feed to get where we are going in a hurry. The machine has operated like this for at least 8 years and has never bothered us. Everything else works as it should i.e. table, rail, lube pump, way lube feeders etc

Used equipment can sell very quickly. Contact the seller asap to discuss this Gray Series 60.
