The AMK 635 - in conjunction with special tooling equipment for gear cuttingin

the soft stage prior to, and in the hard stage after case hardening (optional

HPG-S cutting heads with HPG-S cutter blades with polycrystalline boron nitride

cutting edges) - represents a universal gear cutting system for the complete

and rational manufacture of spiral bevel gears, as well as hypoid bevel gears,

with the normal modules ranging from 3,5 to 8 mm.

With the additional range of application, the AMK 635 is also capable of

producing to the conventional method spiral bevel gears with modules ranging

from 1 to 13 mm maximum.

In addition, it is likewise possible to produce self-centring face-type

clutches extremely economically on this machine.
