With Liburdi Dimetrics Model F Head and FFIP 3081 welding heads from 1.1/2 to 3
Orbital TIG welding is used in a wide range of industries, from oil and gas to semiconductor production.
The process produces consistently good quality welds with high levels of productivity.
For larger diameter pipes the Liburdi Dimetrics Gold Track IV DSP system can be used with the clamp on FFIP TM head for pipes over the range 1.5 to 3 and for larger pipes a track mounted DSP-F series head is available.
The Liburdi Dimetrics Model F Head is designed for the automatic, in position GTAW (TIG) welding of pipes ranging from 2 inches to flat plate (and even ID curved surfaces).
The F head is a remarkably versatile welding tool for any industry where high integrity welds are required, repetitively and quickly.
With only a 4.7 (120mm) radial clearance, the F head indirectly mounts to pipes by means of an aluminium guide ring.
A smooth and accurate weld head rotation is achieved with the Liburdi Dimetrics patented backlash free friction drive mechanism.
