CUTTING OF BLISTER FORMING
RollOTrimmer is the ideal solution to blister forming cutting, when an inline system is not available in the thermoformer. In most cases, the design of the blister allows several sheets to be nested in the die and passed through the press at the same time.

CUTTING METHOD
The principle of pushthru die cutting consists of applying pressure progressively to the cutting edges of steel rule dies, by means of cutting force concentrated between tangent points of two traversing, contrarotating steel rollers. Actually, a
Roll0Trimmer can do the work of a 150 ton press, or larger, as there is virtually no limit to the length of the die, but only to the width.
NO MAKE READY
Structural rigidity of the large compression rollers eliminates deflection and die flexing, assuring precise register, no make ready, and greatly increased die life.
POSITIVE DOUBLE DRIVE
OVERSIZED ROLLERS
All models are equipped with oversized rollers and bearings. Both rollers are driven by a reversing motor through double chain and a transmission. The workpiece, tool and cutting pad are therefore positively gripped throughout the cutting process, giving clean, accurate cuts with the thickest materials.
SAFETY
The working area is covered on either side with hinged safety guards, giving reverse action of the rollers when touched, by accident or intent. This insures that the operator’s hand cannot be trapped between the die and the rollers. This feature also prevents the insertion of a die higher than the gap between the rollers.

EASY OPERATION
The steel rule die is placed on the feed table with knife edges up, on the left hand side of the machine. The material is positioned on the die and covered with the polypropylene sheet. The “sandwich” so formed is then pushed forward. When the cut parts have been removed, the “sandwich” is remade with new material and the cycle is repeated, this time from right to left. This process is so simple, that an unskilled operator can master it in minutes.
