Extrusion lines LW20CN04 and LW21CN01 together with a line for drying material of the SOMOS brand

The line consists of a discharge device directing bare steel wire to the extruder head mounted at the
extruder outlet. In the head, the wire is coated with plastic, then directed to a cooling tank where it is cooled in a water bath. The wire is pulled out of the extruder and tank by a wheel-belt haul-off. Behind the extraction system there is a winder in which the finished product is wound onto spools of 250x150 or 400x250 diameter.

The device is controlled by an Allen & Bradley programmable controller, which supervises the correct operation of the machine and supplies its electrical installation with all necessary digital and analog signals.

This controller remains in a state of continuous communication with the operator panel and
the extraction and winder inverters via the Ethernet/IP communication network. The device uses the STOP safety function integrated in the inverter.
