DESCRIPTION:
The K150 intermittent motion horizontal cartoning machine was designed to be inserted into medium production packaging lines. The speed much higher than the norm is the result of a continuous research that has allowed to reach an advanced technology in the packaging sector. The K150 can manage various types of cases with different closure types: interlocking with even and alternate flaps, without closure with wallet molding, hot glue with four flaps, glue on one side and interlocking on the other, interlocking Even flaps with glue points, interlocking plus additional flap closed with glue.

MAIN FEATURES:
The K150 intermittent motion horizontal cartoning machine is capable of producing up to 120 cartons per minute depending on the format and product to be packaged. The pre-glued cartons are loaded into the warehouse that is easy to access for the operator, and are picked up and opened positively by a suction cup device in phase with the transport system. They can have an interlocking closure with even flaps, alternating flaps or hot glue. The cartons warehouse is designed to be integrated with a horizontal motorized belt, to allow the operator to easily load the cartons while also allowing high autonomy. The operational flow is as follows: from the carton warehouse the carton is picked up individually by the suction cups and transferred to the forming sections. At the same time, the product to be packaged arrives on a feeding belt (4-drawer chain). The formed carton is marked by the marker on the flap opposite the operator and receives the product with an instruction leaflet, taken from the appropriate warehouse. The carton is permanently closed by fixing the flaps with glue, by special devices and exits the K150 system line. The cartons that do not comply with the controls during the packaging process are rejected by a special group. The machine automatically checks all the packaging phases, indicating any anomalies on the display and, if necessary, stopping the machine to allow control. The PLC allows the consultation of production data even with the machine in operation. The Cartoner is also equipped with an intermittent motion blister feeding system model 89/58, and a TATTILE control device for visual inspection of the cartons.
