General information
ALLOYS 1xxx, 8011 and 3003 on this caster with good results at the cold rolling mill stage.
INSPECTION The line can be inspected under power.
TRIAL CAST They cannot cast a trial coil. Some movement of the equipment can be seen.
ISSUES The launder lining will need to be replaced (which has to be done when it is moved
anyway). The bottom caster roll shell is damaged and needs to be replaced.
The good news is that the roll core (the expensive part) is in excellent condition.
