FIXED COMPONENTS OF THE MACHINE:
Work table, slide, machine stand and disc head are made of high quality cast iron to ensure optimum stability and a long service life of the machine.

SLIDING RAILS:
All slideways are precision hand ground and laminated with TURCITE B to ensure the lowest friction and a stable moment of motion for high accuracy.

SPINDLE:
The spindle is housed in a 4-part, precision grade 7 (P4) angular contact ball bearing with constant temperature control to ensure low temperature rise and noise free rotation. The spindle is completely sealed and ensures a long service life with lasting accuracy.

CROSS ADVANCE (for FSM-4080/2040):
The cross feed has a ball roller bearing that is driven separately by an AC motor to ensure smooth movements.

VERTICAL FEED:
The vertical feed control is powered by an AC motor to maximize work efficiency. The additional option AD5 enables computer-controlled vertical delivery.
