The LVD MVB 31/8 hydraulic guillotine shears were built in 1991 by the Belgian company LVD. The guillotine cuts sheet metal with a maximum length of 3100 mm and a thickness of 0.5 mm to 8 mm. Its main advantages are, among others: the rapidly changing gap between the knife and the electronically adjustable knife angle (0.5 - 3.5 degrees), the angle and the front sheet metal supports, and the automatic support of long sheets during cutting. The LVD MVB 31/8 guillotine shears are equipped with an MNC 85 N CNC control. The total weight of the machine is 7.7 tons.
