Used MicroThermics UHT/HTST Lab, model 25HV Hybrid. Unit is designed to simulate industrial processes ranging from continuous cooking to Ultra High Temperature (UHT) processes used for extended shelf life and aseptic processing. Is capable of handling high viscosity (HV) products with or without small particles. Specifications: Flow rate: 0.5 to 4 litres per minute. Preheat temperature: 140 to 230°F. Final heat temperature: 220 to 300°F. Hold times: Beverage hold tube: 2 to 12 seconds. Features: dual product inlet, variable speed product pump with adjustable flow rate and hold times, homogenization break, pre-heater, starch hydration loop, final heater, product coolant control, pinch style back up pressure valve, pre and post pressure and four product temperature instrumentation and laboratory stainless steel bench enclosure with raised edges for spills, sink and faucet and sits on wheels.
