Machine has a top shoe modification to help with container stability.

Includes stand / perspex guarding - machine normally straddles existing conveyor.

The Cap Tightener is semi-automatic. The caps are placed on the container and the thread slightly started and the Tightener does the rest of the work.

The Karmelle tightening machine for screw caps on glass, plastic or metal containers of virtually any shape. The lack of chuck, transfer wheel or timing mechanism allows containers to be processed continuously or at random.

Thanks to extremely adjustable speed control it is possible to precisely match conveyor speeds.

Operation:

Each container is placed onto a conveyor, then fed between a pair of transporter belts which feeds it to pair of pre-tightening wheels followed by the torqueing wheels. The wheels are fitted with durable, replaceable friction rings, suited to the type of cap used.
