The Steelex 12W - 0.8 x 2.0 is a high speed blasting machine for the Pre-Engineered Building Manufacturer and the Structural Steel Fabricator. It will blast plain and fabricated steel and has a capacity of 15 to 20 tonnes of PEB beams per hour and even higher for structural steel.

The machine has twin blast cabinets with four wheels mounted on one and eight on another. The first set of wheel pre-blast the material and the second set fully blast to allow the very high line speeds that the machine gives. This also give great flexibiltiy were only four wheels can be used for sweep blasting and then eight or twelve wheels can be used dependant on the intial condition of the steel.

This machine can be installed with a power and free overhead convyor for product upto 4 tonnes or with a bogie conveyor for product upto 20 tonnes or both for the best flexibility. All the blast wheels are mounted on an angle to the work to ensure that the end plates are cleaned to the same level and the web and falnge of the beam.
