Techgene is a small unit, which offers many innovative features and has numerous applications in molecular biology and diagnostic laboratories. The user-friendly software can accommodate many PCR protocols such as “touchdown” and “RAPD”. Operating temperature range of 4°C to 99°C with temperature control precision of ±0.1°C and block uniformity of ±0.3°C. Advanced peltier technology offers rapid heat-up of 2.8°C per second and cooling rate of 2.2°C per second in the range of 55°C to 90°C, dependant on block type.
Complete with universal heated lid with unique clamping mechanism for oil free protocols. Maximum of 50 three-segment programs. Programs may include up to 9 segments and cycles may be repeated up to 99 times per program. Incremental/decremental segment hold time allows user to increase or decrease the hold time of a given segment with each cycle.
Overall dimensions are 14 L x 6 1/4 W x 7 H inches. For operation on 115V, 50/60 Hz.
