Complete flexible research pilot plant for UHT treatment of liquid foods. Heating / cooling methods: 1: indirect heating/cooling in plate heat exchangers, 2: indirect heating/cooling in tubular heat exchangers. 3: indirect heating/cooling in combination of plate and tubular heat exchangers. 4: direct heating (VTIS) with steam injection in combination of preheating in plate and tubular heat exchangers. 5: direct heating with steam infusion in combination of preheating in plate and tubular heat exchangers. 6: direct flash cooling with or without vacuum. 7: dearation with vacuum (without flash cooling). Products previously run on this line: milk (140 °C), condense milk (139 °C) and custard products (137 °C). Capacity: ± 55 - 270 liter per hour for direct heating in reliance on the product and ± 55 - 240 liter per hour for indirect heating in reliance on the product. 2x Holding cells, protein stabilizer and highest temperature sensor, double jacketed, with separate heating circuit. Including a pilot homogeniser. 2 stage. Hydraulic pressure control. 3 pistons. Stainless steel cladded. Control panel (with frequency converter) mounted on the machine. Manometer on outlet. The software and the touchscreen are updated in 2012 of the UHT pilot plant. Including instruction manuals, spare parts manuals, electric schemes and flowchart in English language.
