Norland Freedom 3000 Automatic Blow Molding Machine BM3000 . Machine was purchased new in 2007 and is set up for 28mm pre-form neck finish. Unit is designed to produce stretched PET bottles from 0.2 litres to 1.5 litres and up to 3,000 bottles per hour. Specifications of blow molder: Number of temperature zones: 8. Number of Heating Ovens: 4. 4 Cavity Aluminum mold. Electrics: 3/60/208-230 volts. Initial blowing: 150 PSI. Final blowing: 430-435 PSI. Air consumption at 150 PSI: 36 CFM. Air consumption at 400 PSI: 108 CFM. Machine dimensions: 98” High x 73” Wide x 128” Long. Weight: Including the machine/mold/sorter and elevator: 2,500 pounds.
Notes: The machine was purchased Unused in 2012 by a second customer. They wanted to run 32mm pre-form bottle necks however, the OEM said the changeover from 28mm could not be done. The machine was never used again. It requires a good cleaning and a tune-up.
