For red wine making
The RIEGER Voll-Taucher tank system is used for the high-quality fermentation of red wine mash.
An integrated and pneumatically-driven immersion element (tank-diameter adjusted) gently immerses the mash cap – fermentation creates - in the juice below the cap and overflows and flows through the mash cap at freely selectable time intervals.
The especially developed immersion control makes it possible to easily and variably make red wines of individual character and international standard. The immersion element´s geometry along with the immersion control enables you to make red wines of soft to phenolic character marked by high-colour extraction effect depending on the agitation intensiti and time of mash contact you have chosen.
