Description

The temperature control unit TT-708 Y is constructed for special applications and for permanent
temperatures up to maximum +300°C. It is equipped with a closed hot oil circuit with integral cold oil
receiver in a large dimensioned expansion tank. Therefore there is no risk of oil “cracking”. A long life
expectancy of oil is achieved due to the low loaded heater elements and the high flow rate.
The units correspond to the harmonized EU norms as EN 292 / EN 60204 as well as to the relevant
EU directives (see conformity declaration) and are provided with the CE sign.
The TT-708 Y is available in 3 different heating versions:
- 72 kW
- 120 kW
- 144 kW
The different models are marked by the name plate on the front of the unit.

The serial equipment consists of:
- self-optimizing temperature controller with digital display of the set and actual temperature. Display
in 1/10-° range. Switchable from °C to °F
- automatic temperature monitoring. Deviation between effective and set temperature activates an alarm
- digital display of flow with monitoring of the minimum flow
- leak-proof high temperature pump
- heating switchable in stages
- lime-free heat exchanger
- horn for fault messages
- automatic level control – dry run protection
- mechanical safety thermostat and electronic temperature limiter installed in the controller
- with main switch, automatic cut-out, transformer and motor protection switch
The unit must be so installed, that all 4 rubber feet are on the ground. The unit should in no case be
balanced on 3 feet only.
