Listing description

The ProX 300 uses 3D printing technology called Direct Metal Printing (DMP). This 3D printing technique uses a laser to melt and fuse a material in powder form. 3D Systems' patented roller system spreads the powder and compacts each layer, resulting in better heat transfer into the powder, sharper angles without supports, uniform mechanical properties and thinner layers (adjustable, 10um mini – 50 µm max).

DMP printers are compatible with more than 20 materials, including Inconel, maraging steel and chrome-cobalt.

Thanks to 3D Systems' patented layering technology, it is possible to use smaller particles, which allow the generation of the finest details and ultra-thin walls.

Delivered with an all-in-one Manufacturing software solution suitable for 3D printing of metal or ceramic parts, the ProX DMP 300 also offers a system of interchangeable modules for easier mass production.
