1. Artigliio 1400mm band saw
Year 2006, installed in 2007.
Artiglio bandsaw STN 140, flywheel diameter 1400mm, flywheel width 180mm, made from cast iron.
Extra-thick steel frame
Remote-controlled pressure blade push
Electronic-control hydraulic blade tension unit
Power tilting of upper flywheel
Hydraulic disc brake on lower flywheel
Centralized lubrication
Blade and upper flywheel protection-guard
Automatic timed diesel-oil blade and flywheel lubrication pump

Multiple chain belt on log band saw frame.
Maximum log diameter 1100mm
All the parts are original, maintenance done with original parts from Artiglio.
It worked one shift, 10 months a year, sawing beechwood and maple logs.
The Flywheels were grind in 2018.
Main bearings were replaced in 2016.
Main motor 90KW, equipped with inverter and electronic braking system (original were star/triangle).
Complete electrical panel.

The hydraulics were rebuilt by Artiglio back in 2016.

The package includes rails, carriages, head rig, infeed hydraulic log system, some outfeed roller system, brush system to clean the boards by wood dust, complete electric panels, operator cabin, spare parts.
As you can see we invested a lot into the machine: the 100KW inverter and electronic braking system costed us EUR 18,000 ( the original machine was equipped with star/triangle start system). Another benefit of this system is that the speed of the machine ( tangential speed) can be increased about 20% and thus the output of the machine.
Furthermore/extra we offer: infeed hydraulic log system ( vasca), some outfeed roller system, brush system to clean the boards by wood dust, operator cabin, spare parts. These items are a must and the market value is above EUR 25,000.
