As configured, this Hamilton MICROLAB STAR Liquid Handler has the following capabilities:
This system is capable of plate-to-plate, reservoir-to-plate, and tube-to-plate transfers
This system is set up for use with disposable tips and can handle volumes of up to 1000ul per channel on the SPAN arm (8 channels)
The CO-RE 384 multichannel head allows for quick transfer of up to 50ul from plate to plate or reservoir to the plate in a single step.
The CO-RE Gripper allows for plates and tip racks to be moved around the deck
The iSWAP Gripper allows for plates and tip racks to be moved around and off the deck while reducing the span tips wear from CO-RE Grippers
The included Autoloader barcoding mechanism allows for sample tracking during the method/assay.
