De HDC-2000 3G double-speed multi-formaat studiosysteemcamera bevat Sony's geavanceerde technologieën voor studiocamera's. Drie 2/3-inch Progressive IT CCD's en Digital Signal Processing (DSP) LSI met 16-bits A/D-converter zorgen voor een verbluffende beeldkwaliteit met zeer weinig ruis en een hoog dynamisch bereik.

Geschikt voor 3G, 3D en slow motion-opname met dubbele snelheid

De HDC-2000 beschikt over 3G-transmissie en heeft mogelijkheden voor meerdere formaten, van 1080/100i en 720/100p (slow motion met dubbele snelheid) tot 1080/50p, evenals een groot aantal andere HD-formaten, waaronder 1080/50i, 720/ 50p, 1080/25p en 1080/24p. De camera biedt ook 3D-productiemogelijkheden met dubbele cameratransmissie via een enkele hybride glasvezelkabel.
