The MCF-500 strawberry capping machine is a great technological advance, allowing complete automation of the process with high production and maximum performance. The feeding of strawberries to the machine is done by directly pouring the bulk boxes onto the dosing hoppers, and automatically the machine doses and processes the strawberries individually, getting the effective separation of fruit and waste products, achieving an optimal stripping to have a quality strawberry for further processing or freezing.

In addition, the automatic line with MCF-500 cappers stands out for its flexibility, high degree of automation, simplicity of operation and maximum efficiency in cutting. Its innovative design, its robust construction, made of stainless steel and food-grade plastics allows easy cleaning and hygienic processing of the product.

Within this line, each machine has two independent product loading zones, assisted by feed hoppers. The machine performs the cutting of the strawberry calyx continuously, achieving the effective separation of fruit and waste products. The processed product is then discharged onto a conveyor belt.

The machine is able to process a wide range of shapes and sizes of cutters, only its preliminary calibration is necessary. A line with 6 MCF-500 capping machines, offers a performance of 2,400 kilos/hour and can be operated by only 9 operators, which reduces by 85% the labor required for this process allowing to recover the investment in less than 2 years.

This system, which is the only one that orients and holds the strawberry in the cutting process, allows a precise and flat cut without the strawberry moving, thus achieving an excellent yield and product quality, since only a thin sheet of calyx is cut. Calyx waste: aprox. 9%
