Listing description

The units are as follows:

Each as a Capstone ICHP Heat Recovery Modules (the high recovery copper core unit);
3 x of the units have a Capstone Gas Packs; and
Each unit has an APS (which I think allows it to run in island mode – if the grid fails or is not present – e.g. remote setting).

The units have between 1,000 hours and 4,000 hours of operating time on them.

Capstone gives these units a useful life of 100,000 hours.

Each unit is separable although we would need to buy and install gas packs for those units missing them and acquire and commission control gear for each.

All six units are to be relocated to Melbourne in February 2020 for minor repairs (battery replacement, door lock replacement and LCD screen replacement). They will also be powered up to ensure they meet the manufacturer’s output ratings.

They are designed to run off natural gas or LPG but can be modified to run on biogas but require a scrubber kit to be added to the fuel line to remove siloxanes present in biogases.

They cannot run on syngases as these have too low an octane rating to fire the turbine.

Furthermore, We will supply the 6 x pumps, 3 x Plate heat exchangers, VSD and control panels in the sale.

Note that turbines 2,4 and 6 have spec plates that are obstructed by a bracket which holds the gas pack (gas compressor) on each of these three units.

Note that all of these have the battery pack which allows them to run in island mode from the grid.
