The Cam M92F Blistering Machine is an intermittently operating blister packer, engineered for the fabrication of sealed, deep-drawn blister strips. The machine’s operational flow is from left to right, with a variable speed mechanism that can reach a peak capacity of 40 strokes per minute.
The process begins with the deep-draw foil being pulled from a separate reel-holder located on the left. This foil is then directed to the heating and deep-draw station, where blister pockets are formed with the aid of compressed air.
Following the formation of the blister pockets, the product is fed into them at the filling station. Once filled with ampoules, the web of blisters advances to a guillotine where individual blisters are cut out. These blisters are then placed on a conveyor and transported to the Cartooning Machine.
This machine is equipped with an automatic product infeed assembly. Here, the product is extracted from magazines (not included), aligned, and inserted into the pockets.
The machine’s maximum output is 40, with a maximum forward draw of 204 mm and a maximum draw depth of 28 mm. The foil width is 256 mm, and the maximum reel diameter for the deep-draw foil is 400 mm. The machine requires compressed air of 6.0 - 8.0 bar, with a minimum air consumption of 500 NL/min. It also requires approximately 0.7 m3/hr of cooling water and consumes 13 kW of power. The Blisterpacker is currently fitted with format parts for 1-2 ml.
