Unused disc separator Alfa Laval type MMPX 303 SGP. Working parts are made of stainless steel. This high-speed centrifugal separator designed for cleaning of mineral oils from water and solid particles (sludge). Designed application marine and land. Separator can handle the following type of oils:
Distillate, viscosity 1,5 – 5,5 cSt/40°C
Marine diesel oil, viscosity 13 cSt/40°C
Intermediate fuel oil and heavy fuel oil (viscosity 30-380 cSt/50 °C)
Lubricating oil of R&O type, detergent or steam turbine.
Can operate as a purifier or as a clarifier.
When operated as a purifier, separated water discharges continuously.
When the oil contains only small amounts of water the separator is operated as a clarifier, discharging the water together with the solid particles.
Maximum rated capacity 1700 ltr/h.
Max density of the feed 1100 kg/m3, min pressure 1,5 bar, temperature 0-100 degrees C.
Max density of the sediment 2631 kg/m3
Belt drive 2.2 KW, 2 pole, 3 phase, 50 Hz, 3000 rpm.
