Dissolved Air Flotation ( DAF Plant)

Availability: listing already sold

Listing description

Setup for 50 m3/hr

DAF Plant and services set up in two 40 ft containers

DAF in one container
Other container has filtration, floc make up & pumps
Includes:

There are 3 tanks for the floc/additives – they are currently assembled with the mixing tank (black tank – 1060 strake height + diameter approx.. 1250mm) set to be able to make the floc solution, there is a transfer pump to pump the made floc in to both of the two additive tanks (these are 1000 Litres each – the tall beige tanks). There is a variable speed driven dosing pump from the joined floc storage tanks which will connect to the water inlet to the DAF unit.
These tanks could be used for a different additive if needed. There are no specific acid/base storage tanks + pumps.
There is not a lot of instrumentation – it is largely manually set – except the variable speed drives.
As noted before there is no air compressor.
The ADU is the air dissolving unit – there are pictures of this.
The DAF 50 unit is the main DAF tank – it is a 3 chambered unit, with the sludge tank at the front end, there are the variable speed, chain driven, rotating scrapers that bring the floated sludge to the front end, there is the main flotation tank area in the middle, and there is a clear water overflow weir and trough at the rear end. It fills most of the main DAF container. The sludge chamber has a level sensor to turn the unit off if it is too full, and a low level cut off for the sludge discharge pump. The discharge water trough also has a level switch arrangement for level control.
Pumps
0.18 kW Floc transfer pump – mono Tag : P-102
0.55kW Floc Dosing pump - gear box reduced mono with VSD Tag: P-103
0.18 kW Sludge transfer pump – mono Tag: P-112
5.4 kW Air dissolving unit centrifugal pump Tag: P-105
1.5 kW + 1.1 kW inlet water + discharge water Goulds centrifugal pumps (80mm + 65mm) ( 7.5kW pumps were used when there were two DAF units together + much longer suction/discharge lines). Both on VSD’s Tags : P-101 + P-106
? kW – small centrifugal pump – currently hooked up to use cleaned discharge water , after the flow meter and feeds back for floc make up in floc mixing tank. Could be used for connection to a potable water supply if desired. Not on PID.
Chain drive is on a VSD (shown in elect. box on the front of the DAF unit.
Filters
There are two dual sets of 80mm Arkal filters – they could be arranged either in parallel (as an on line/spare to switch) or could be two different microns in series. There are spare disc stacks, they are manually removed for cleaning. The grey stacks are 20 micron.
