The MARCHESINI GROUP MC 820 is a state-of-the-art Cartoning Machine/Case Packer, designed with the highest standards of efficiency and reliability. This machine is a part of the BL series, which is the pinnacle of NERI’s production capability in the field of linear labelers, backed by years of experience in self-adhesive application.

The MC 820 features a unique balcony construction that simplifies clearance procedures. It employs a positive transport system for cartons, ensuring fail-safe operation. The machine’s ergonomic design reduces accessibility to just 70 cm and segregates the machine into three distinct areas: operational, mechanical, and electrical.

The machine can operate in-line with other packaging machines or as a standalone unit when equipped with the necessary infeed and outfeed devices. It boasts a stainless steel balcony construction and an on-board electrical cabinet. The machine provides easy rear access to electrical and mechanical parts, secured by a large door with a safety switch.

The MC 820 uses toothed belts for positive carton transport and an upper conveyor belt to stabilize cartons during the application of tamper-evident seals. It is managed by a PLC with fail-safe positive logic. The machine features an automatic unwinder, a twin horizontal conveyor belt for product bunching at in-feed, and a mechanical timing device to dispense cartons onto the main toothed conveyor belts.

The machine also includes a self-diagnosis feature on a 6" color touch display on a swiveling arm, a label length self-learning system, and an automatic label changing system with keyboard setup and memory for different label sizes. It monitors minimum load at the inlet and maximum load at the outlet. The machine operates at a maximum rate of 400 pcs/min, with a label speed of 0-50 m/min. It supports a maximum reel diameter of 400 mm, operates on a standard electric power supply of 380 - 220 V-50 Hz, and consumes 20 Nl/min of compressed air at 6 bar pressure.
