The OPTIMA CFR2-2 is a state-of-the-art rotary machine, built in 2019, specifically designed for compatible capsules. It comes with a new Starter-Kit, enabling immediate production and ensuring a swift market entry.

The machine’s filling process utilizes protective gas to minimize oxygen content in the packaging. It employs suction nozzles or a suction bell to mitigate dust during filling. The filling and closing systems are tailored to the product.

The dosing and weighing system ensures 100% gross weighing, identifies and adjusts for bulk weight fluctuations, and maintains a constant filling weight/volume through high-precision positioning. It uses a volumetric dosing system with an auger filler.

The capsule handling system includes automatic sorting and optional storage bin for bulk goods. It raises the capsule during filling to prevent dust accumulation and uses a cycled transport system. The double-track capsule transport maximizes performance with the same number of filling positions.

The machine’s design offers excellent visibility and accessibility, with an integrated separation for reject product and/or production patterns. It has a compact design with an integrated control cabinet and a secure and sturdy mechanical system. The modular design provides maximum flexibility for future product, packaging, or function adaptations.

The drive system uses wear-free servomotors. The machine’s operation is simple and clearly arranged, with a graphic display of the machine status on the HMI.

Technical specifications include an output of 100-220 caps./min, a dosing range of 1-18 g, a format range of 30-60 mm, a maximum of 12 working stations, a capsule height of up to 40 mm, a capsule width of 30-60 mm, and basic measurements of approximately 2,100 mm x 2,100 mm x 2,500 mm (LxWxH).
