Pick up station type A780
In the pick-up station, the newspapers are conveyed on stream from the inlet conveyor to the acceleration conveyor, where the newspapers are accelerated and picked up by the gripper one at a time. The acceleration conveyor can also work as ejection belt.

The pick-up station is operated by means of a control panel. Under the inlet conveyor a metal sensor is fitted, which detects alu tape at reel change. In order to synchronize the speed of gripper conveyor with the speed of press, the encoder signal from the press must have the following characteristics: 1024 pulses, 1 zero pulse, 5 Volt DC (specifications is to be delivered by Schur Packaging Systems)
