1 Used MGS Plastic Cup Placer. Machine was placing the following plastic cups onto bottles:

1) 12 oz PETG rectangular bottle measuring 2.75” L x 1.63” W x 7” H with PETG cup measuring 1.25” top x 1.44” opening x 1” H. Speeds at 80 bottles per minute.

2) 4 oz PETG rectangular bottle measuring 2.50” L x 1.13” W x 5” H with PETG Cup measuring 1.25” top x 1.44” opening x 1” H. Speeds at 80 bottles per minute.

Machine is designed to place dosage cups onto bottles travelling on a conveyor. Bottles are metered through a timing screw. Stacks of cups are placed into the pre-feeder magazine. The powered infeed magazine conveys cups to the 4 head rotary pick station. Vacuum cups running on the rotary devise pick up the cups to place onto top of bottles. An orbital tamper bar tamps down each cup to assure they are properly seated onto the bottle. Bottles without cups are rejected from the line.

Machine is constructed in Stainless Steel with safely lexan doors/guarding. Comes with 2 motorized conveyors, one for the plastic cups, one for the bottles, Allen–Bradley MicroLogix PLC Controller, Becker low noise vacuum pump, light stack, downstream surge sensor, low level magazine alarm, no product-no placement controls, additional controls and features, (see operations manual for full specifications). Electrics: 1/60/230 volts. Was last used in a large pharmaceutical facility.
