In addition to the three axes that allow reaching the height in the space, a fourth rotating axis to which the gripper is fixed allows the products to be rotated by 360 °, in order to obtain maximum flexibility in terms of palletizing schemes, and allows prepare any labels or barcodes attached to the products, along the entire perimeter of the pallet, to allow rapid recognition even by automatic devices.
The movement of the axes is managed by closed-loop motors controlled by a specific axis control, which allows the gripper to be moved in the shortest possible time, but with controlled acceleration, with a positioning accuracy of +/- 0.5 mm by interpolation of the 4 axes and connecting the various movements, without swinging the product and not making the machine vibrate, ensuring a longer life.
The products enter the machine on a roller conveyor with motorized and frictioned rollers.
A control photocell prepares the machine for gripping the product, using a gripper dedicated to the product itself.
An anti-collision safety device is mounted on the gripper which immediately stops movement.
