Skerman hemispherical process/mixing vessel constructed (1996) in food grade stainless steel to BS 5500 Cat. 3 design code. Approx 1.2m diameter x 1.0m total depth. Approx 1,206 litre gross volume. 80mm dia centre bottom product outlet (RJT) with remote manual valve operation. Stainless jacket to hemisphere area rated at 3.1bar design pressure. The jacket is insulated and rigid stainless steel clad with polished finish. Full profile scraped surface agitator with contra rotating baffle plates. The vessel top cover and mixer gear is power raised and lowered hydraulically. The vessel stands on three 80mm dia legs, 1640mm height to vessel rim. Top cover plate has a 360mm wide hinged raised access panel with a safety grid. Jacket and vessel design temperature is 143 C. Approx overall dimensions 1900 x1300 x 2250mm high.
