General description:
The Sollas 20 is a versatile, user-friendly
overwrapping system which stands out for its reliability. One of its most important features is its flexibility; changing over to another product size will take only 15 to 20 minutes.
It has proven itself in many different industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetic / perfume, stationery DVD/CD, tea, etc.
All Sollas machines can be equipped with various infeed and outfeed systems. Integration is also possible with upstream and downstream equipment like case-packers, cartoners, stacking and banding equipment, etc.

Machine Design:

SOLLAS 20 PLC automatic wrapping machine, standard equipped with:
- machine executed with SIEMENS S7 ET200 or ALLEN BRADLEY Compact Logix 1769-L23E PLC and a SIEMENS TP177A or ALLEN BRADLEY Panel view 600 plus monochrome touch screen display. The PLC controls all electrical functions in the machine and serves as a diagnostic and fault finding device,
- product data menu to store machine settings in the PLC,
- frequency controlled main motor and conveyor, adjustable through the display
- quick change devices incl. numeric counters,
- product flow monitoring on infeed system by means of photo cells,
- driven film feed by means of servo motor
- FIXED FOLDING STREET H96,
- INFEED CONVEYOR BELT
1500 x 220 mm, with pressure rollers. This SOLLAS built conveyor belt ensures a trouble-free feeding of products towards the machine,
- SAFETY GUARDS
To protect the operator from being injured by moving parts in the machine, plexiglass panels are mounted. Some of these panels can be opened to make the machine accessible for maintenance etc. These moveable panels are electrically interlocked with the machine, so that it will not start when opened,
- FELT ON MACHINE
In order to protect the product from being scratched, the infeed as well as outfeed section will be lined with a SPECIAL FELT
