TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
Thecontinuous cycle centrifugesI amfully automaticand particularly suitable for the treatment of
short or shredded shavings of brass, steel, stainless steel and superalloys, aluminium, AVP and cast
iron. They reach flow ratesup to 3,000 dm³/hand beyond.
Designed with a low center of gravity to work with maximum stability and without vibrations, even
with high operating loads. They have a vertical rotation axis and dry chip discharge downwards,
basketbuilt-in, large filter ring reinforced and manganese steel outer coating for greater wear
resistance. All components subject to wear are also protected by the same coating and are easily
replaceable.

The shredded shavings are discharged into the centrifuge through a special loading hopperand
undergo acceleration through the rotation of the basket. Thanks to the centrifugal force generated,
the fluid is separated from the chips by passing through a largefilter ringto then be discharged
outside through a specialexhaust pipe. The de-oiled shavings are instead pushed by the rotary
movement to rise up the basket until they go beyond the edges and then detach themselves and
bounce off the wear-resistant walls of theCentrifugation chamberand then fall, through the
appropriatedischarge chute, in the area below.

The degree of drying of the chipIt depends on some factors such as: chip morphology, specific
weight of the chip, humidity level of the incoming chip, type of metal, temperature of the coolant,
viscosity of the coolant, etc. So it is not easy to make precise theoretical predictions.
However, our experience and internal statistics clearly show that the degree of chip drying

improves in such situations:
-when the chip is well chopped when
-the oil is not very viscous
-when the actual flow rate is below the system capacity.

The centrifuge comes with the following components as standard :loading hopper,maintenance
hatch,discharge chute,top cover,inspection hatches with interlock,filter ring, steel body with
reinforcement, base, anti-wear and anti-accumulation coating, anti-imbalance sensor, shock
absorber, tank with washing pump and booster pump.
The equipment is almost as new, it was used less than a year. It was made in 2018.
